We have carried out several implementations in the area of Data Virtualisation since 2014 and are active in the community around the Logical Datawarehouse. In collaboration with Rick van der Lans, with whom we have been working for a long time, we have developed the SuperNova concept , which makes data warehouses virtually accessible for analysis.
Since 2014 we have shared our knowledge and experience with Logical Data Warehousing and Data Virtualization at a large number of seminars and conferences.
We employ a permanent group of TIBCO DV architects, all of whom experience data architects with years of experience in data warehousing, data modeling, automation and business intelligence.
With our implementation partners KVL, Nippur and Centennium, our customers are always assured of sufficient resources at a high level.
TIBCO Data Virtualization was marketed more than 14 years ago as a Composite Information Server. After Cisco acquired Composite in 2014, TIBCO will include this Data Virtualisation solution in its portfolio in 2017. This means that the entire Cisco Data Virtualization business unit has been taken over. This acquisition has been well received in the market and analysts such as Forrester and Gartner are also positive about the acquisition. Incidentally, TIBCO has been using an OEM version of Composite Information Server in its Data & Analytics portfolio for many years, so Data Virtualization is nothing new for TIBCO.
Since 2003, more than 300 customers worldwide have used the software to unlock their increasingly complex data architecture for Business Intelligence and Analytics applications. Currently connecteddatagroup TIBCO DV is implementing a leading pension administrator in the context of a redesign of the data architecture, we are working at a leading academic hospital on the implementation of TIBCO DV within the private cloud Big Data & Analytics platform delivered by us, and we start 2018 the implementation of TIBCO DV at a leading confectionery company. In all cases, TIBCO DV is used to implement the Logical Datawarehouse on a variety of sources, from big data to real time.
